Windrovers Cottage Property Management and its mobile offspring the Cottage Crew are a new company whose goal is to offer a complete cottage rental, property management and service package.
When you make your cottage into a business you will gain real businessincome while making your cottage mortgage interest, heating bills, electric bills, taxes, repair bills into business expenses.
It is not necessary that you spend a lot of time running the roads for your new business. Windrovers can do everything for you. That is why we have introduced a changeover cleaning service to our business plans.In the past, cottage owners were often obliged to run the highways,
clean the cottage for the next renter, buy and change propane, take out
garbage, mow the lawn and so on and on.
Windrovers will strive to make cottage renting a pleasant and profitable experience for you,
the cottage owner.
We keep a percentage of the rental price for the Windrovers Rental Service. You also may wish to add the Cottage Crew basic changeover service. You will only pay for the weeks the cottage is rented and for each time the Cottage Crew comes in to inspect and clean.
Your cottage will be advertised world wide on the web @ Windrovers.com. A small picture and synopsis including rent, location and a brief cottage description will be linked to your cottage’s own web page featuring beautiful photos and more details.
There will also be an availability calendar that will be kept up to date every time there is a change.
Your cottage will also be advertised on a long established cottage ad website to lead searching renters to your page.
Our company will be advertised by brochure, flyers, newspaper and magazine ads, posters and signs. We will be attending cottage and trade shows - displaying your cottage advertisements and speaking with potential renters.
This is an opportunity for us to meet with you at the cottage: take photos inside and around the property; go over the rental arrangements; find out particularities about your cottage and your renting criteria; and come to an agreement on the amount of rent to be charged.
Windrovers will speak with each of the people that will phone to inquire about renting your cottage.
We take reservations; arrange financial matters; get a contract signed; design and produce documents for the cottage owner and renter; and intervene on behalf of the cottage owner when the renter has problems or concerns.
Windrovers will collect rent deposits and balances; and handle cancellations and all other transactions. The day our customers check in - we will prepare a statement and forward the balance to you.
Our Cottage Crew winter checks or full inspections help care for your cottage and will prevent small problems from turning into large overhauls. We’ll drop by your neighbours too and let them know they can call us anytime they perceive a problem with the renters or the property.
